Cooking Instructions
Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole
Thaw everything completely in the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Put sweet potatoes in a saucepan with ¼ cup water, cover and cook over medium high heat until tender and mash. In a large bowl mix together your mashed sweet potatoes, and sugar/milk mixture until smooth. Transfer to a baking dish. In a medium bowl mix together your brown sugar/cornstarch/butter mixture until coarse. Stir in your pecans and then sprinkle this mixture over your sweet potato mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until topping is lightly brown. |
